I've just been updating the Drawing Room website and getting very excited about the new LIFE DRAW courses that will be starting up again in late September. In doing so, I realised that I can have a little arty blog going on here... so I am planning to put up news about the Drawing Room events and also send you any drawing and painting tips that you may find useful. Bear with me... It's been a long time since I wrote a blog!
This year I've taken an extended summer break in order to recharge and put my drawing and painting muscles into action. I have been going to the long pose sessions which run at The Sussex Arts Club in Brighton and enjoying it thoroughly. They always have great models and there is a good banter going on. After running my own long pose sessions for quite a while, it's quite a novelty to turn up to a session 10 minutes before we start and clear off 10 minutes after... Once the Drawing Room LONG POSE sessions start at the end of September, I will still try to get across to Brighton as I really want to practice, practice, practice and up my game. The only way to do it is to work hard. :)
Anyway, I hope to see some of you once the Autumn truly kicks in.
